Not quite. I love avant-garde just as much as I love prog. This, however, lacks flow and riff structure. In other words: avant-garde for the sake of being avant-garde.

Nah I've seen people complaining about this band for being to much similar to Virus, hence sounding too "ordinary" or "natural" . I personally love it and think that it has great flow.

There's plenty of avant-garde music which sounds natural. By natural, I mean flow and structure. Avant-garde doesn't have to be a mess you know

Because conventional and avant-garde are essentially antonyms whereas natural has nothing to do with either. Here are a bunch of avant-garde bands with natural flow and structure: Omb, Dissona, Leprous, Estradasphere, Ihsahn, Back To R'lyeh, Torrential Downpour...

The only way you could assume that what I said was an oxymoron was if you assumed natural and conventional were related. I can't think of any other terms which would fit your assumption...

Maybe you should stop making assumptions then. Anyway, a debate on semantics is clearly off topic here so I'll end this debate here.
