Still don't think this album is really worth the praise and hype surrounding it, but their new one ups their game so much it's ridiculous.

What the flying fuck is wrong with you guys? This is just as good as λόγος. The style didn't change at all if you ask me. Fantastic band.

Same style, but I'm not a fan of the production on this. Too flat and lacks the murky oomph of λόγος.

I guess I have to re-listen to both... I actually just finished my first focused listen of both (as in, just listening, doing nothing more). I don't recall a huge difference. λόγος probably sounds a bit more... crunchy/punchy/solid? While this one has a sort of "mist/air/dust" sound. I enjoy both sounds though and that makes me a happy camper since it's always nice to have some variation between the albums. xD

Man, A few years back I'd call myself a douche for using those words in order to describe music. But I can't come up with anything better.

Well listening again they don't sound all that different. I think λόγος is bassier and dirtier and slightly more "chaotic" in the song writing department, whereas Through the Cervix is perhaps slightly more toward standard OSDM riffing and has slightly clearer production. Still seems pretty good.

For me, here the songwritting is not compatible with songwritting. I mean, their music maybe is not chaotic enough for the production and the aesthetic they are heading for. That being said, I just listened to this once and I might be wrong. That could be very important factor since I initially did not like λόγος that much.

Definitely not as good as λόγος, but still a damn good album in my opinion.
