The album that started it all and is still my favorite fetus album to this day no doubt about it... CLASSIC BRUTALITY AT IT'S FINEST.. I love those quirky random bass lines so much and savage riffs that make me feel like I'm on PCP.

Great debut for the band. I love how raw-edged and gritty most of the musicianship is. "Blunt Force Trauma" is probably my stand-out highlight.

Despite this being only the debut, I would still say this is probably their most grindy and groovy realise to date, and is amongst one of their most brutal sounding too, the heavy tone is excellent, but the production and songwriting wasn't anything special. They obviously improved dramatically over the next coming albums. "Blunt Force Trauma" is probably the main stand out for me, with the rest ranging from average to decent.

They've started to impress us more over time with their technicality side, and their songwriting and structures have become more complex, but they have always managed to maintain a certain level of grooviness and brutalness to their technical songstructures, something that not every brutal death metal band is able to achieve. This imo is what makes this band unique and stand out from the rest.
