The reviews I've read so far sounds promising. "Their best album so far...", "..an instant classic" and "Fans will not be disappointed!"

This is incredibly mediocre. The music is so cheesy that it makes any Finntroll album sound like Ordo Ad Chao. It would be fine if it was good cheesy like Sagas, but it's just really lame.

FUNtalitty! After playing "clone wars" with Rekreatur, band finally comes back to it's form. Reminds me of summer of 2008 (yes, Bryan Adams reference), when "Sagas" followed me everywhere and mood of the album was fantastic. this time again. Uplifting, epic, melodic and still different in a good way. It's not as amazing as Sagas, but lets be honest, I doubt that anyone will ever surpass the magnificents of Saga in folkmetal. Well this one i a great come back for me.

No words... except it's AWESOME
Edit: Did rate it as a 9, until I heard the bonus track and the instrumental CD... FUCK. Can't give it any less than a 10.

Easily a 9 because of the instrumental cd and "Uns'rer Flöten Klang" especially.

Just awesome! In my opinion some of the songs on the new Album are in the list of the best Equi songs of all time. The Chorus Part of Heavy Chill makes me cry from awesomeness, because Robse singing more or less clean vocals sounds fantastic. Only point of criticism is Wirtshausgaudi. I don't like this one

I wish I could rate this higher. Comparing it to Sagas, or even the one previous to Sagas, it just doesn't stand up. I'll give it more spins surely, and adjust my rating accordingly, but for now just not doing it. It is a bit cheesy as one person said perhaps, not sure yet.

Great album, but it's no Sagas. In my opinion, the first half has more substance than the second half. Still a good effort and it's good to know they are still relevant in the folk metal scene. Here's to the next

Is it just me... After the EP Waldschrein, I found a lot of Jeremy Soule/TES soundtrack reference, at least 3 tracks in this album sounds that familiar.

I'm going back and forth with assigning this a 9 or 10.
It's different yet as amazing as Sagas and the debut. I didn't like Rekreatur, it lacked everywhere; this album brought me back to loving this wonderful band
Every song is awesome and grabs my attention. Glad so many others are loving it!!

Good album but not right contender to win MS award. It lacked in many places and couldn't even up-tempoed from spots initial song left on. They're tracks which was very low in quality and wasn't in flow with the record which it was flew in. Some tracks nailed the depth of the album.
Mixed reaction but adamant enough not to take away the major award or put up in 9s or 10s cadre.

Ten years have passed and now it firmly stands beside "Sagas" amongst my most beloved albums. Also I don't know what genius moved "Aufbruch" to premium editions, but the album is not complete without it.
