Giant Squid continue to evolve. They are hard to put in a box because every song is a tantalizing experiment. Minoans reveals itself slowly with shorter songs, powerful blasts and instrumental finesse. There is refinement in the melodies and a perfect marriage between the voices of Jackie Perez Gratz and Aaron Gregory. Shit is out there...REALLY out there...I can see this will take time getting used to. I haven't listened to these guys in awhile, don't remember them being this avantgarde.

Apart from the magnificent songs back to back, especially "Palace Of Knossos" and "Sixty Foot Waves" are spectacular to me. And at times it kinda reminds of Grayceon who I love because of Perez Gratz vocals.
