All-told, I guess I can count myself pretty darn fortunate to have gotten my hands on the new Helloween prior to its release, so I could dribble out a few choice zingers on the internet for total strangers to read as if I know something they don't (even if I wound up sitting on my adipose sarcophagus watching Parks & Rec all day and had to wait until after the release date to listen to it like a regular chump-asaurus). I just wish this had happened two, five, or possibly 28 years ago.

Previous two were much better. Disappointed when I originally listened to this. Hopefully the next one will be better

I guess I'd see this album in a more favorable light if it wasn't from Helloween. If it was the debut album by a band I had never heard about I would probably even enjoy it. This is also the main problem I have with this and to a lesser extent their last couple releases. They do feel like debut albums from an unknown band that you might stumble upon on Youtube or Bandcamp, but certainly not something that was released by a genre giant that has been in the business for more than 30 years.

Finally listened to the album. Most of the tracks sound like they would be filler songs on some of their better albums. You, Still Of War, If God Loves Rock and Roll and Lost in America are really great tunes and probably the only ones i'll keep coming back to. Wouldn't really say there are too many bad songs... just not many GREAT songs.

Great songs mixed with bad or filler songs. Creatures In Heaven, You Still Of War, The Swing Of A Fallen World, Batlles Won, Lost In America are very good.

There are no good songs here compared to previous Helloween albums and the new one, either you just listen to it in the background or thoroughly, simply no song stands out. And if you're making a compilation of best Helloween songs, there are none from this album.

In total 18 tracks?! That's just overkill.. and among them there's only a few that gets something going, sadly no great songs to find here. This is probably my least favourite Helloween album but it's not much worse than Straight out of Hell and Gambling With the Devil.
