The intro on Decayed Son Of Earth is really similar to Svartidaudi's Perpetual Nothing. And I'm quite sure I listened half of the riffs on the album somewhere in DSO's discography.
Still enjoyable, if unoriginal. I like the overall sound and production.

My problem with this is that track 1 sounds basically identical to track 5, whereas tracks 2, 3 and 4 are practically indistinguishable from one another.

Hmmm yeah... Gave it another 2-3 spins and with each listen it becomes less interesting. Like all the riffs are the same save for 3-4 notes, and the vocals are way too monotonous making the whole thing sound like one (good) long track that drags on forever (so not so good).
Decayed Son Of Earth is still neat.

I saw these guys live and actually thought they had played a song twice, but reading these comments it might have been a different song.
