Pig Destroyer is one of the most polarizing bands in grindcore, mostly because sometimes they aren't very grindcore. While Prowler In The Yard and Terrifyer are certified genre classics, their following albums have kinda split their fan base between the ones who want a return to grind roots and the ones who don't. Head Cage probably really pissed off the former.

Enjoyed Book Burner but it had some flaws so I wish for a better album. Still extremely excited after all... They are my favorite grindcore band.

I thought this album was pretty good, but in my opinion the drums are too high in the mix and they sound too overproduced.

Such a flat album, both song and soundwise. Not much intensity, and the metalcore-vibes sound pretty uninspired. Lucky there's plenty of other good grind albums this year I guess, but a shame to see such a good band become so mundane.

I dig it, But I still believe that Anselmo and The Illegals did a better job.

What a fall from grace. Joe hit the nail on the head. I'm going to pretend this album doesn't exist.

I think it’s safe to say that this is way better than Book Burner or Phantom Limb.
