I enjoy myself so much when metal "connoisseurs" shit on popular bands. I mean, it's cool to be blasé towards something so many others like, isn't it? I'm glad I don't belong to this "enlightened" group of metalheads because, even though I love the underground and do believe that metal thrives because of it and is dead without it, I let myself appreciate the goods that catchiness and melody have to offer.

That was it for me...since Twilight Of The Thunder God NOTHING new, just like AC/DC.

Mostly true, but I love "Hel" from Deceiver Of The Gods mostly for Messiah Marcolin's feature.

Also Under The Influence is had a concept that they really should do again.

Yeah, some songs are fine and good, but as whole, its boring.
Amon Amarth is one of the biggest bands out there and their actuacl music approved that not.

I used to be a huge fan of Amon Amarth, but it seems to me like you know exactly what to expect when they release a new album, lyrics about the Viking sagas and epic battles, with very catchy riffs and vocals which are easy to listen to.

This is still an enjoyable album overall, with some enjoyable songs like "Crack the Sky" and "Shield Wall", but it's still predictable. The songwriting has slightly improved from Jormsviking, and so too the production quality, but it still doesn't match up to the rest of their discogrophy. Overall it's slightly weaker than Deceiver Of The Gods and Surtur Rising IMO.

Amazing discography. I only didn't keep track 9 from 2016 album, but rest is a keeper. Of course their discography is not comparable to Insomnium on technical side, but fun wise it is even better.
