So this is the first time since 2003's Traveller that we get The Lord Weird Slough Feg's whole name on the cover. Does that mean that the band has returned to the sound they had more than fifteen years ago? Well, the answer is yes and no.

I definitely prefer it to Animal Spirits, but surprised anyone would choose that over Hardworlder or Traveller. Personally hoping they get back some of the beefier production this time round.

Traveller is just behind for me, but I've never really understood Hardworlder to be honest. For me, it's like their worst album (barring the debut). It's still an OK album, but it just doesn't click. I don't really understand what people dislike about Animal Spirits, I love it. But it's a lot more chill than their other albums, that's for sure.

Animal Spirits to me is just Hardworlder without any catchy song writing, but I guess we're approaching Slough Feg from very different angles

Why do we have two profiles for Slough Feg, I mean, both profiles are almost the same.

Listened to it four times so far I think, and it is a great album, but only good for being Slough Feg. I feel that the songs are a bit underdeveloped and kind of end before they have really said something, and I don't like the guitar tone. Other than that, great melodies, and the drumwork is stellar as always. Some of these songs will be on rotation for me for a long time, that is for sure.

It's Slough Feg, playing unique sounding heavy metal -- if such a thing even exists in 2019 -- I cannot point to another band that sounds quite like this, and maybe there will never be one?. While the songs on the album are, generally speaking, pretty good, "The Apology", "Being And Nothingness", "Uncanny", "Coming Of Age In The Milky Way" and "The Cynic" are even better. I'd say this album is pretty close to what Digital Resistance is in terms of its quality and there is no fear of disappointment with this album. Easily one of my Slough Feg favourites

Some of the choruses are really catchy, got me humming along with them. Great lyrical quality this band has. Also it is mostly a hard rock album, no?

My Favourite Slough Feg album along with Traveler! This album is absolutely flawless!! Even if it has 2 songs that are not very metal (Coming of Age In The Milky Way and The Cynic).
