Every song sounds above average, but there are no great or standout tracks. Not bad after the first listen, but definitely not going to beat either of the previous two albums.

Damn, I don't think it's possible to make a more solid album, this is where Elvenking will prove me wrong next time I guess.
And what a way to end the album, pure magic 🤘

Another excellent release from them Some The Scythe influences gives it a nice touch.

A good album, but the choruses tend to become annoying after a few listenings.

Every time I would listen through the first 6 songs I didn't feel like finishing the album, so eventually I just started at song 7 and discovered that they saved all the soul for the second half. The first 6 songs aren't bad but it feels like the band is trying to rush through the obligatory section in order to get to the better stuff sooner. I would have preferred they gave a little more love to the earlier songs so that the album wouldn't feel so completely divided into two opposing halves.

The overall sound, vocals, and writing are thinner and weaker than the previous two albums, but this one is still mostly enjoyable. The second half is certainly worth a listen.

As bland as it could get, first album of EK that brought zero good tunes whatsoever. Grimoire was already quite lacking inspiration but this is really bad.

I gave it a 7 because it's a tad bit closer to "good" than "average," but really this is more like a 6.5 for me. It's a HUGE disappointing following the two magnificent albums that came before it. I really hope the next one is more memorable.
