Most of the western world relies on the US as a strong partner with a shared moral framework. Not a proto-fascist regime that has more sympathies for other dictators and their war efforts that international cooperation.

by American system, I meant the fiscal/ political system that enables US to generate enough wealth to have a big military that has sustained Europe post WW2+ not to forget the The Marshall Plan.

And when the US populous elects a government that comes with a whole fascist playbook and statements to tell people they mean it, that will make the world uneasy.

The reason current US politics are so badly received in large parts of the world is that the US make sure that nothing happens in the world without their meddling. We're all affected by what happens in the US.

Although all that negativity isn't exclusive to the Europeans. So I do not know why this is up for discussion haha.

Many europeans simply won't support the way the US deals with issues like guns, healthcare system, their hard-on towards privatisation, how religion is deeply inrooted in their politics, etc. And this is just social stuff.
