The Crown have shared their re-recorded version of the 1997 track titled "Hunger". The latter was recorded and engineered by Marko Tervonen at N3 Studio and MT Studio in April 2024. It was mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren (ex-Carnal Forge, ex-Scar Symmetry, Ironmaster, World Below) at Black Lounge Studio. Until now, the song was only available on the Japanese version of Crown Of Thorns, which was released in October 2024 via Metal Blade Records.





A statement from the band reads as follows: "To thank you all for your support during 2024, we would like to share the re-recording of the track “Hunger”, originally featured on the 1997 sophomore album Eternal Death."

"1997 melodeath just came knocking on your door," added The Crown guitarist Marko Tervonen (also known from Angel Blake).
