It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm. Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member). Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

"almost seamlessly combine iconography of Pagan and Slavic mysticism with the musical side, which has apparently been inspired by the likes of Bauhaus and Joy Division". The lyrics of Srub refer to the mystical, occult side of Russian nature, its otherworldly forces and their relationship with man. At the same time, the band members try to move away from folklore themes, focusing on abstract, nameless images; perhaps the only exception is the image of the devil, which often appears in the plots of Srub songs. All songs are performed in principle only in the native language of the performers, Russian. The frontmand and founder of the group explains this by the specificity and atmosphere of the verbal component of the group's work, understandable only to Russian-speaking listeners: "For me, "Srub" is not a story about crazy devils. These are devils. And if a foreigner, for example, has never walked along dirty paths through the weeds in the twilight, then he will never see these devils in music. And the one who sees them, he speaks Russian quite well. I am sure. It is like country music in Russian. Thoughtless for me.
