Biography
Mortal Plague was formed as a solo project in 2009 by Jonathan Wade after his previous band, Gorgon, disbanded. A few demo tracks were written before collaboration with new members created the debut 'The Ballad Of Misanthropy'. After its release, collaboration with Kevin Woo began on the 'Winter Is Neverending' demo, and 2011's 'Omens'.
After some time, a new album was started, drawing from the original plan to be a solo act. Music was written entirely by Jonathan while bass, and some lyrics were added by Elijah Losch and Kevin Woo, respectively.
Soon after the album was written a live band was formed to play material from 'Omens', and over the years various other lineups have been utilized as appropriate to play other material.
Now, after a brief hiatus, Mortal Plague has returned in its latest incarnation.
