Belligerent Intent is a 3 piece black/death metal band from the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. With blasphemous lyrics combined with non-stop brutality and speed, Belligerent Intent is all out war against the laws of the cross.

First spawned by Craig and Darren Rodeghiero, the Belligerent beast slowly gestated until Craig saw an opportunity in 2007. He summoned the skills of Matt and Mark, who he met playing in Flesh Embraced. They entered the studio and recorded their first 2 track promo which was released in Jan 09, and finally released their EP Titled "Descending to Abaddon" in 2010.

In early 2011, Mark and Belligerent parted ways, and Luke (also ex-Flesh Embraced) signed on to fill the guitar slot. In the first 8 weeks the band wrote and recorded the “Seven are They” promo. The Group was then expanded with the addition of Mike (ex-Urgrund) for a more brutal twin-guitar attack.

Playing many shows and supports throughout 2008 - 2011 has proved these maniacs are serious and dedicated to this music, and they will continue to keep writing Unholy, Evil, Fast and Kaotic tunes for you to thrash your head to.

Now in late 2013 we now have the 666 string slaughterer Matt Wilcock on guitar and are in the middle of writing and recording our new album "Eternity of hell & torment".
