Belltower is a Brooklyn New York based black metal band that was created by band spearhead and mastermind Christian Allen in 2014.
The band's content and lyrical theme mainly focuses on death, the concept of an afterlife(or lack thereof), nihilism, depression, anger, the inevitable destruction and rebirth of all things. Belltower also strongly signifies strength and the primal urge to overcome the tribulations that life provides.
In the early winter of 2015, Belltower released the single "Unto The Tide", following with the upcoming arrival of the 2017 release of the debut full-length "Hereafter".
"Hereafter" was written by Christian, who in turn enlisted the talents of Alex Cohen (Malignancy Imperial Triumphant, Pyrexia), on drums, and Camron Morris (Pale Ritual, Marrow Of Earth) on lead guitar, and ZAK Kupcha of Circulation media assisted on engineering. Hereafter was engineered and produced by Christian Allen.
