Disfigured Dead were formed in early 2008. Dave and Kyle have been playing together for several years in a grind act while Evy and Dave also played in a thrash band called Rabid. When both bands split, the members joined together to form a death metal band as a result of their common musical tastes. The band composed fourteen tracks and in August 2008 recorded a demo album containing six of the fourteen songs. This demo led to some label interest; Kitchen Vomit Records was in the forefront before the deal fell through after issues regarding a contract could not be solved.

Soon after Disfigured Dead decided to release "Visions Of Death" with their old friend Craig on Reaper Metal Records. Since then the album has been recorded, mixed and mastered. The band, now thanks to Craig, are going to be releasing their material under the Hells Headbangers label. "Visions Of Death" was officially released in February 2010.
