The term that gives name to the HÄXAN band's project was inspired by a witchcraft film, produced, written and directed by Denmark's Benjamin Christensen between the years 1919 and 1921, which with an unusual style tells the history of witchcraft through the ages. "HÄXAN" described their music as pianissimo, experimental and bizarre, keeping out of conventions and structures totally overused. This due to need of changes and transformations, looking for a place where nobody will analyses himself, but rather a place to feel and to experience...
