Biography

The band was born in 2006 when Fabio (Ritual of Rebirth, guitar) joined Dogma, a young band from Genoa who had successfully released their first promo "Sense of Light". So the band had its new front-man and in 2007 released as Nerve their debut album with Nadir Music. Getting Nervous was produced and recorded by Tommy Talamanca, known producer and guitarist of Sadist. The album was well received by critics and local fans who started to follow the band. Live experiences and huge rehearsal sessions brought the band to a more established sound which can be described as faster, concrete and personal. With this renewed chemical assessment the direction seemed more clear and the band hit Nadir Studio again. With the help of producer and long time friend Tommy Talamanca the sound changes its attitude becoming very aggressive and reflecting the no compromise attitude of the band. Hate parade, Nerve's second effort hit the streets on January 2010 with Nadir Music/Audioglobe and clearly put the band at the center of the national extreme scene. The album is acclaimed by national and international specialized press and the band sets a lot of live performances alongside such names as Cynic, Extrema, Misfits, Obscura and Extrema. It's time to cross the national border and the band scheduled its first European tour teaming up with Hate (PL) and Incantation (USA). The tour hit UK, Germany, Czech Rep., Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain. Back in Italy, the live activity continues seeing the band consolidating its name and status during several summer festivals. During October 2010 the band schedules another important tour alongside the newly reformed Decapitated (PL) and once again Hate (PL). This time the band hit Poland with 13 gigs. During Autumn 2011 the band suffer for a line up change. After more than 9 years Massimo Marandino decides to leave the band due to personal working reasons and leaves the town. The band decides to go on and begins the recording of a third album and choose to start a collaboration with a Polish friend : Dariusz "Daray" Brzozowsky, drummer of Dimmu Borgir. The new album is called Fracture and after more than a year of work is finally ready. This work presents a completely new band : the music is fresh, fast and powerful, enriched by uncommon melodies and enlightened by a supreme drumming performance. Fracture was produced mixed and mastered by Fabio Palombi, singer of the band in his Melazeta studio. The band is currently in search of a label to publish his new effort planning a forthcoming release in 2013.
