Biography
Even though Let it flow founded in year 2003, its roots rest upon long lasting friendship between the band members. By year 2005 band starts to carve its own niche of dark and deep music in the music community. This is noticed by Ant Balci who is a producer in one of the leading music studios in Izmir; "Negatif". First project they put together in 2005 gets positive attention from Hammer Music which led to a contract for two albums in three years. In 2006 band releases its first album "The Momentary Touches to the Depths". With band's melancholic tone, album fills the vacuum in the national music community that no other group accomplished thus far and becomes an integral part of the dark metal fan's music diet. At the same time video clip for the song "Desires lost" gets aired in national television which helps to spread bands impact into broader audience when combined with many concerts around the nation. Band also gets positive reviews from international community as a successful debut.
While band gets started on their second album "Meanings", Ozgün Akay and Murat Sarlicali take over the vocals and Ant Balci joins to the team. Recording again gets completed in studio Negatif. Mastering is done by Mika Jussila (Finnvox Studio, Helsinki, Finland) who worked closely with famous bands such as Amorphis, Apocalyptica and HIM. In many songs a chamber orchestra accompanies to the group and a complete orchestral version of "Sitting on th Quay" gets released in the album. Video clip for "Grey Man" gets produced in "Terminal" (www.t-ist.com) by Nuvit Bingol. This video clip gets aired in many national television channels and number of interviews of the group appears in national magazines.
In "Meanings" band puts its aggressive and progressive features on the spot while not abandoning its melancholic roots. By this broad spectrum of feelings band creates its own unique sound and gets positive reviews from international community. Even though band proves that they carried their music quality forward, new album fails to meet with the shelves due to decisions made by Hammer music and album gets released in the internet.
After series of concerts for "Meanings" band part its way with Hammer music in 2009. By this time band also undergoes a roster change to take its final shape. With the motto "Every end is a new beginning "band jump starts its progress with new concerts, songs and web page and makes a fast entry to 2010.
