From the dark heart of Victoria, Australia comes a lament. Wood of Suicides are a three-piece musical experiment rooted in themes of misery, twilight and despair, blending a sorrowful mix of acoustics, melody and traditional elements of Doom and Blues with an abrasive layer of Blackened Thrash and the harrowing ambience of Suicidal Black Metal. Based central to Melbourne, Australia, Wood of Suicides manifest itself in the winter of 2006, and is the ongoing endeavour of three accomplished musicians dedicated to producing works of a dark and violent nature.

Having completed their long awaited first full length release, following a highly acclaimed sample recording, Wood of Suicides will be taking to the live circuit from 2008 with some of Australia's best Metal acts, retelling their tales of darkness, misery and malice to audiences across the country.

In the climatic wreath of a chilling midnight gale, the souls of all long passed are given new life and meaning.
