First & second wave of Black Metal, pagan dreams and occult fantasies were the main forces which led five beings from Athens (Hellas) to the creation of a Black Metal band during the year of 2003. Influenced from bands like [bands]Darkthrone[/bands], [bands]Emperor[/bands], Order Of The Ebon Hand, Rotting Christ, Necromantia, Satyricon and also inspired by several works of writers like H. P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Astral Aeon combine dirty black riffs, high-pitched shrieks and blast beats with a chaotic majestic atmosphere dressed by archetypical emotions of darkness and immortality. The band made its presence to the underground scene through a lot of live shows and through the release of two demos called To The Realm Were No Life Dwells (2003) and Great Beyond (2004). Right now and after a lot of hard work, Astral Aeon released their first full-length album under the name Allegories Of Light. With this album the band continues it's majestic feasts between chaos, extremity and darkness.
