Biography
Lethal Halo is a 5 piece Melodic Metal ensemble.
Formed in 2008, Lethal Halo began writing material influenced from their diverse cultural backgrounds.
With members hailing from Turkey, England, Ireland and Canada, and drawing upon European Death Metal, American Thrash, Speed and Nu Metal with touches of Progressive and Power Metal, Lethal Halo has a
broad palette to work with. Lethal Halo is unafraid to create music that crosses genres and blend styles to attain their musical vision.
In the fall of 2009 with a full line up and a growing collection of original compositions, Lethal Halo began performing at showcases and small concerts within the local Vancouver scene.
In December of 2009 Lethal Halo went into the studio to record their self titled 4 track EP which was released in January 2010. With the new EP in hand Lethal Halo took to playing local shows every month
as well as touring in Summer 2010.
Winter 2010 saw Lethal Halo enter the studio to record their first full length album, to be released early 2011. This will be followed by a 14 city CD Release tour planned for Spring 2011. Starting with
a desire to create music which they enjoy, Lethal Halo has grown from humble beginnings, but has always believed in their ability to write and perform original music at a high level.
With their debut full-length, a number of tours under their belt, and festival gigs on the horizon, Lethal Halo continues to have a growing fanbase with promise of more content to come. We look forward to the future with new music, new tours and new fans to share our brand of music with.
