Ye Goat-Herd Gods was formed by Canadian multi-instrumentalist, Jeanie Keebler (aka Great Horned One) in 2010. Writing on the universal themes of war, death, destruction, disease, she completed and released Becoming Flesh in the summer of 2012, recruiting her former Despirited band-mate, Gord Olson for vocals and to add some guitar solos.

The music is stripped down, straight-forward, blackened metal, taking influences from several genres to give it a modern edge with a strong old-school attitude.
