Bubonic Wrath was started as a one man black/thrash metal project by Chris Kelly in 2005. Handling all the instruments and production duties of the band allowed Chris the outlet to create his vision for the band, but through various lineup and label changes he eventually included Marcos Camacho (Napalm Strike) on lead guitar to bring an extra lead guitar element to the band.

The band's music follows in the vein of many one-man black metal projects, while crafting it's own unique atmosphere and technical approach. Standing behind a strong debut of Swallowing This World Of Rot, Bubonic Wrath has teamed up with Masters Of Metal Productions to work on newer material and pickup where the EP left off.
