I dont mind Nik Holmes and Gregg McIntosh do ''disco'' music, as they did whit Lost but not under Paradise Lost name. Few Lost songs as singles was OK actually

reading my shouts i realise i'm coming off highly defensive (and a bit prickish). That is not my intention.

btw I will listen to new Opeth album once, same as all new ones after sound change.

btw there is one other band I wish will brake up, its manowar ;D Opeth concerts are OK since I believe they do play much old material .

I should have said "some fans" though, not "most fans". No idea about the actual distribution. I can say for myself, however, that I think of pre-2010 Opeth when I say that name.

Åkerfeldt is pretty open about it in interviews. He jokes about it on stage but apparently some fan behavior really pisses him off.

Opeth was once my fav band , and its cool to read that people dont understand what someone else try to say ;D
