Ulver - Trivia
The band name translates to "Wolves".
In 2008 Ulver, along with over eighty other Norwegian musicians, contributed to a loving five-disc tribute album for The Artist Known as Prince's 50th birthday (Ulver covered the track "Thieves in the Temple"). As a result, the Artist threatened to sue the C+C record company releasing the album for copyright infringement.
Ulver recorded the soundtrack for the Norwegian movie "Svidd Neger" from 2003. "Svidd Neger" means "burned negro". |
