John Mikl He also an actor, an historian, a screenwriter and a bodybuilding champion.

As a bodybuilder, he was the first Canadian to win both the Mr. Canada and Mr. USA titles. During his bodybuilding career, he has achieved over 40 titles around the world.

Started out as a concept band called Centaur in 1973, later renamed to Mikl Body Rock and toured throughout North America. In 1976, while touring Canada, Jon Mikl Thor met Frank Soda and they formed Thor And The Imps. One year later, signed to RCA Records, Jon Mikl Thor formed a new incarnation of the band called simply Thor.

In 1986 Jon Mikl left the band in order to focus on his actor career.
