The video and the song lyrics are about a real-life experience of singer and songwriter Heli Reißenweber, as after a long time he met again one of his friends, but now not as a man anymore but as a transwoman. The song and the video describe the suffering of his friend and his feelings of inadequacy with her own body, therefore "Fremdkörper" = "foreign body".
