No Akelei! Seriously?

they played last year (that gig at DDD was the album release gig) and in 2007. Having a band 3 times in 5 years at a festival is pure overkill.

Oh and out of the 15 bands 5.5 are already Dutch, which is way more than ever before.

Thanks for clarifying things up. Just one more question though, I'm not quite familiar with Herder, how good are they?

I haven't heard them, yet. But I heard good stories about them. Some sort of rocking stoner with more or less screamed vocals.

They are pretty good actually. It's stoner doom with a fine touch of avantgarde, Pelican meets Om kinda. Let me know if they are as good live as they sound in the studio .

Any idea if the Baroeg website will ever replace the DDD 9 version with this year's bands? Or if anyone could post the timetable of the 3 days, that would also be great.

Oh and Herder played on Incubate this year. Didn't see them, but just a few days ago I read this review (in Dutch) on Incubate, including Herder. You can find it here:

Baroeg is working in replacing the DDD 9 version. The DDD X version should be up soon.

After being ill for quite a while I will probably be well enough to travel to this. What better way to celebrate your return to health with some Doom metal.
