The Netherlands, Eindhoven - Epica: Retrospect 10th Anniversary Show

Epica will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a unique show. A 70-piece symphonic orchestra and choir will accompany the band at the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven (NL). Especially for this show the band has invited the Hungarian Extended Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Miskolc National Theatre, the same orchestra and choir with whom Epica recorded the highly acclaimed live album The Classical Conspiracy. This anniversary show will be a "Retrospect" on Epica's career and will contain all trademark elements you can expect from Epica.

Yeah, it was quite awesome. Very full though and my company didn't feel like fighting our way to the front, so it was hard to see a lot. The orchestra could've been a bit louder in the mix IMO. But overall the show was great. My personal highlights were "Design Your Universe" and, surprisingly, "Serenade of Self-Destruction".

There are some rips from the stream on YouTube. Most of them get taken down quite fast of course, but you'll still find a few.

Wow, I envy you for being there... Judging by the setlist, it must have been awesome. Unfortunately this clip were taken down already (just like the others), but I heard that there will be a DVD! Is this true? Did they say anything about it?
I'm also curious about Simone's vocals, was she good? Because lately she was kind of bad live, especially when I saw them live last May.
Thanks for the answers

True, Simone wasn't as good as a few years ago on the Design Your Universe tour.

And yeah, of course there will be a DVD.

I watched a few clips from the stream yesterday and she sang pretty bad... I guess I won't be buying that DVD.
