Finnish monster rockers Lordi have announced that they have "slammed into the studio with producer Nino Laurenne to record some killer new tunes", possibly for an upcoming album. If you forgot who Lordi is, they kind of "revolutionized" the Eurovision Song Contest by winning the whole thing in 2006 with their hit "Hard Rock Hallelujah".

Insomnium can now reveal that they are on their last day of recording drums in SF Sound studio. He was gearing up for the launch of Last In Line's debut album later this month, and the band were taking part in Def Leppard's cruising festival in the Caribbean.
