Boston-based trio Elder is pleased to announce the first leg of their European tour, scheduled for this coming April / May. On the road, the band will be once more supported by King Buffalo. Among the confirmed dates we can also find the appearances on Deserfest (London and Berlin edition) and Kristonfest in Madrid. Elder will be touring in support of their latest, fourth studio album, Reflections Of A Floating World, released back in June, 2017.

Norwegian black metallers Svartelder just revealed the details of their upcoming debut album. Titled Pyres and set for release on Dusktone in April of this year, this will be a six-track album. Recorded in Norway at the Woodscave Studio. and mastered by WSL Studio in France, this album is the follow up to Svartelder's Askebundet EP, which hit the streets last year, also on Dusktone. A preview of the artwork by Khaos Diktator (Arditi, Nordjevel, Horna etc.) which will be used for the album can be seen below.

A new black metal band is born. Nordjevel, which translated means "Northern Devil", was founded by frontman Doedsadmiral (Svartelder, Doedsvangr) and guitarist Nord (Fatal Impact, Tvangeste, Byrdi) earlier this year. The Norwegian duo was quickly joined by Sweden's Fredrik Widigs (Marduk) on drums. They have today revealed the details and artwork for their upcoming debut full-length album which will be released on Osmose Productions on the 29th of January. Titled Nordjevel, the nine-track album will be released in digipack and digital editions which will be followed by a vinyl version on a date as yet to be announced.
