Norwegian prog masters Leprous have released the first single from their upcoming fifth studio album, Malina, scheduled for release on August 25th via Inside Out Music. Saxon recently unveiled the first details for their next studio album in an interview. The follow up to Battering Ram is set to be released in January 2018 and will be called Thunderbolt. Artwork and trackilst have yet to be revealed. The British veteran band also revealed recently that the upcoming disc would feature a song called "They Played Rock And Roll" in honour of late Lemmy Killmister.

Twisted Sister, now disbanded, has sued the promoter of last year's Rock Carnival festival, claiming the band has only been paid $50,000 of the $200,000 it was to receive for headlining one of the three nights at the Lakewood, New Jersey event. And they're not gonna take it. In court papers, promoter John D'Esposito and his company Rock N Festivals said they "suffered catastrophic economic losses" due to three days of heavy rain that weekend.
