Gazpacho - Announce European Shows, New Album Coming

Good news for Gazpacho fans. The Norwegian progressive rockers, who released the brilliant Demon album last year, have announced details of a series of shows in Europe in October. They will be supported by label mates Iamthemorning on these dates, which will be their first shows outside of Russia and London. The tour coincides with the release of Gazpacho's highly anticipated new studio album entitled Molok. Start getting excited!

Warbringer - Banned From House Of Blues Anaheim

Disney strikes again. Warbringer were supposed to play on the House of Blues in Anaheim, California opening for Meshuggah on April 13th but that won't happen because the thrashers have been banned from the venue because their "name/image/lyrical content are somehow objectionable to proper Disney image and family values."

Dutch Doom Days XIV - Confirm Insanity Reigns Supreme, Death Penalty And More

The upcoming Dutch Doom Days festival in Rotterdam, The Netherlands is shaping up. Recently, new names have been announced for the bill that will be headlined by Shape Of Despair on October 31st. Death Penalty was confirmed as co-headliner on the second day of Dutch Doom Days. Belgian newcomers Bathsheba as well as doom/death metallers Insanity Reigns Supreme also join the line-up.

Septicflesh - Release Video For 'Prometheus'

Currently sharing a European tour with Portuguese metallers Moonspell, the Greeks Septicflesh have just released a new video today. You can watch here their gruesome new music video for "Prometheus", a track taken from their latest record Titan (2014). The storyline revolves around the theme of transformation and crossing the thin line between predator and prey. Curiously enough, this is only the symphonic metallers second video clip since their formation (the first being "The Eldest Cosmonaut" from the A Fallen Temple album).

Antigama - Premiere First Song From New Album

Two years after their latest record, Antigama are back with reinvigorated energy. In fact, the grindcore experimentalists are releasing a new album called The Insolent and the first song is already out there. It's called "Used To" and the band made a video for it. The video footage was shot by Paweł "Pavulon" Jaroszewicz and Łukasz Myszkowski at JNS Studio during The Insolent recording sessions. Take the plunge below.

Tommy Rogers - Frontman Releases Film Score, Available Online

Tommy Rogers, Between The Buried And Me's frontman and multi-instrumentalist, is very busy these days. Apart from preparing Between The Buried And Me's upcoming tours and the release of their new album Coma Ecliptic, Rogers was recently tasked with putting together the film score for the movie Dutch Book. The film was screened this week at the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa, FL. Fans that are into his Thomas Giles solo albums, Pulse, and Modern Noise, as well as the softer side of Between The Buried And Me should give the soundtrack a listen here.

Draconian - Complete Mixing New Album

Draconian's vocalist Anders Jacobsson has posted an important update on his Facebook page today. The new album from the gothic doom band is now mixed! While A Rose For The Apocalypse was already released back in 2011, the band has a new singer, Heike Langhans, and the album recordings are finally completed. Also, Daniel Änghede of Crippled Black Phoenix did some guest vocals for this upcoming album. Now you just have to wait for the final product to arrive. More details will probably be revealed soon.

Nergal - Shares Snippets From Solo Project

Recently, Behemoth's guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski revealed that he was working on a solo project which he described as "very stripped down and simple. The most primitive, acoustic-based stuff." The frontman has now shared some clips on his Instagram page of music he appears to be working on. The Decline Of Western Civilization - Films Coming To Blu-ray

Now, this is something. On June 30th, Penelope Spheeris' cult-classic documentary trilogy The Decline Of Western Civilization will be available in a special Blu-ray four-disc box set, compliments of The Shout! Factory. The first film, released in 1981, is devoted to the L.A. punk scene at the time. The second film, The Metal Years (1988) takes a look at metal, and features bands like KISS, Poison, Motörhead, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, W.A.S.P. Now for the first time, all three films are available in one deluxe box set. And while all three films have been restored in high definition, they are in keeping with the feel of the rebellious times in which they were shot.
