Testament - Dave Lombardo Announces Departure From Band

After rejoining Testament over a year ago, drummer Dave Lombardo just announced on his Facebook page that he has once again left the band, citing scheduling conflicts as the reasons. Lombardo was previously in Testament during 1998-1999, when he appeared on their eighth studio album The Gathering. The band, who will soon be heading out to Latin America with Kreator, has yet to announce a replacement for him.

Vomitory - Releasing First Record In 12 Years

On May 26th, Swedish death metal legends will be drenching the world in vomit and blood by releasing their first new album in 12 years, entitled All Heads Are Gonna Roll, via Metal Blade Records. All instruments self-produced this time with engineering assistance from Mats Lindström, vocals recorded by Rikard Löfgren at Leon Music Studios. Mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory at Rorysound Studios. The stunning artwork for this occasion was created by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design). For a preview of the new music, check out a Marcus Svensson-directed music video for the first streaming single "All Heads Are Gonna Roll".
