Suicidal Tendencies - Introduce New Drummer
Following this week's news that drummer Greyson Nekrutman was joining Sepultura for their upcoming final world tour, Suicidal Tendencies confirmed on their Facebook page that Jay Weinberg (ex-Slipknot) is replacing Nekrutman as their new drummer. As previously reported, Weinberg is now also in Infectious Grooves (a side project by Suicidal Tendencies vocalist Mike Muir), who just recently tracked new material.

Suicidal Tendencies - New Drummer Introduced
Drummer Greyson Nekrutman announced on his Instagram page that he has joined the iconic crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. He is replacing Brandon Pertzborn, who had spent the last few years filling in for none other than Dave Lombardo, the latter of whom was the drummer for Suicidal Tendencies from 2016 to 2020 and just recently left Testament.

Suicidal Tendencies - Announce Special Halloween Shows In California
Venice, Los Angeles, California-based crossover thrash legends Suicidal Tendencies will be doing a three-date residency at the Garden Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, California towards the end of October. The band will be playing three sets each night, playing songs from their back catalog, including from their hardcore punk and thrash metal eras; tickets go on sale tomorrow (September 2nd). In related news, Suicidal Tendencies have reportedly been working on a new album for a 2022 or 2023 release.

Suicidal Tendencies - Former Bassist Dies From Motorcycle Accident
Former Suicidal Tendencies bassist Bob Heathcote passed away last Sunday (July 24th) as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 58 years old. Heathcote was a member of Suicidal Tendencies from 1987 to 1989, performing on the album How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today, and he was replaced by Robert Trujillo, who would remain with the band until their temporary breakup in 1995.

Suicidal Tendencies - Working On New Material
Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir confirmed in a recent interview with AMFM Magazine that the band has been working on new material for what appears to be their first album featuring original material since 2016's World Gone Mad (which was their first release with current Suicidal Tendencies and former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo), planned for release in 2022. The band's most recent record, 2018's Still Cyco Punk After All These Years, was a re-recording of Muir's 1995 solo album Lost My Brain! (Once Again). Stay tuned for updates on their new album.
