Entitled How It Ends, it was tracked at Hellfire Studios on the outskirts of Dublin, produced by the band and engineered by previous collaborator Chris Fielding. In advance of the record’s release, today the band unleashes first single and album closer, "Victory Has 1000 Fathers, Defeat Is An Orphan," and its accompanying video.

Swedish masters of melodic death doom metal, October Tide, will release their seventh studio album, The Cancer Pledge, on October 6th 2023 via Agonia Records. It was recorded and produced in 2023 by October Tide and Karl Daniel Lidén (Bloodbath, Katatonia). The latter also handled the mix and mastering. Cover artwork was designed by Albin Högbom. The release will coincide with a headlining tour of Europe.
