Uriah Heep - Bassist/Vocalist John Wetton Dies

Sad news to report. The short lived Uriah Heep and King Crimson bassist/vocalist John Wetton, who was more known for his work with proggers Asia has passed away aged 67, following a battle with cancer, according to his bandmates.

Uriah Heep - Classic Line-Up Reunites For One Show

For one night only, Uriah Heep reunites with core members of the classic 1970s line-up, welcoming both Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake to the Moscow Crocus' iconic stage, to perform the band's classic hits in a 2 hour set. Uriah Heep will be joined on stage on October 15th by Ken Hensley (Hammond, vocals, slide guitar) and Lee Kerslake (drums, vocals). Ken parted from Uriah Heep in 1980 to continue his song writing and solo career. Lee stayed with Uriah Heep until 2007.

Uriah Heep - To Film DVD At Special One-Off Show

Uriah Heep will play a one-off show in London's Koko on March 4th. This show will be filmed and released as a live DVD on Frontiers Records in late 2014/early 2015. Mick Box and company will deliver a set including classic tracks and brand new material written for their upcoming 2014 studio album, the follow-up to 2011's Into The Wild.

Uriah Heep - John Lawton Touring With The Band In May

Hard rockers Uriah Heep have announced that they will be rejoined by an old friend for a limited run of dates in May 2013 when they tour The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. John Lawton, who was lead vocalist between 1976 and 1979, will reunite with the group to cover for Bernie Shaw, who requires some time off for a routine medical procedure.

The album was produced by Mike Paxman. Cover art was designed again by the renowned Greek-American artist Ioannis (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx).
