Witherfall - New Lyric Video Online

American progressive metallers Witherfall just released a new lyric video online. It's for the track "The Great Awakening", song #6 on their debut album, Nocturnes And Requiems (released in Europe on October 6th). Furthermore, Witherfall are currently writing new songs for the release of their second album, roughly scheduled for autumn/winter 2018. Mystic Prophecy - New Covers Album Detailed

It seems like cover albums are popular lately and this time it's German power metallers Mystic Prophecy, which have just revealed the details for Monuments Uncovered. Opera IX - Former Frontman M The Bard Passes Away

Italian metal act Opera IX just lost their former member (who was involved in many Italian bands) M The Bard, real name Marco De Rosa. He fronted Opera IX for 11 years until 2014, having recorded the band's last album, 2012's Strix Maledictae In Aeternum. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

American Head Charge - Bassist Chad Hanks Dies

Chad Hanks, bassist and one of the co-founders of Minneapolis nu-metal group American Head Charge, has passed away at the age of 46. He was reportedly battling terminal illness in recent months. A benefit and public memorial for Chad Hanks will happen on Sunday, November 26th, 2017 in Minneapolis.
