Magnum - New Album Coming

British progressive rock legends Magnum are about to release a new studio album. Lost On The Road To Eternity has been scheduled for release via SPV GmbH/Steamhammer on the 19th of January 2018 as a digipak version including a bonus live disc, 2LP coloured version, download and stream. Tobias Sammet of Edguy/Avantasia is featured on guest vocals and the release will once again be complemented by Rodney Matthews' atmospheric cover artwork!

AC/DC - Band Producer And Bassist George Young Dies

Recently, AC/DC has shared some sad news. George Young, the older brother of Angus and Malcolm, has died aged 70. George Young was the guitarist for the Easybeats and also produced AC/DC's albums, including High Voltage, T.N.T., Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Let There Be Rock, and Powerage, having played bass with the band early on. No cause of death was revealed.

Hallatar - New Video Released, Stream New Album

Finnish melancholic mourners Hallatar, led by Juha Raivio (Trees Of Eternity, Swallow The Sun) with vocals by Amorphis' Tomi Joutsen and Gas Lipstick (ex-HIM) on drums, have just released today their debut album called No Stars Upon The Bridge via Svart Records. Ozzfest - Sues Ozy Fest

According to reports, Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest has filed a lawsuit against the organizers of the interactive outdoor festival Ozy Fest, claiming that the New York City event and its logo were confusing music fans. Ozzy Osbourne's Monowise Limited Corporation claims that the festival's logo steps on Monowise's trademark.

Tom Keifer - Hospitalised With Heat Exhaustion And Dehydration

Tom Keifer was forced to cancel his concert Saturday night (October 14th) due to a medical emergency. The Cinderella frontman was scheduled to perform at Jergel's in Warrendale, Pennsylvania when he was taken ill with heat exhaustion and severe dehydration before the show. If all goes well, Tom Keifer is expected to be released from hospital later today.

Angel Dust - Are Back, New Album Coming

German thrashers, later power metal undertakers Angel Dust are back from the grave. The band broke up back in 2011, and never brought to the light the promised new album which would follow 2002's Of Human Bondage, their latest album to date. Now the band has posted on their Facebook page that they are working on a new album.

NWOBHM band Avenger have lost their former vocalist Roddy B, full name Rodrigo BVevino. He was also the singer/guitarist in British band Abaddon. Roddy B. was a talented singer, multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer and producer.

Aerosmith - Steven Tyler Suffers Medical Issues, Cancel Shows

Aerosmith will be missing a few shows on their Aero-Vederci tour. The hard rock band announced that it would cancel the remaining four dates of its South American leg due to frontman Steven Tyler's "unexpected medical issues."
