Armed For Apocalypse - Performance Clip Of New Song
Armed For Apocalypse have recently posted online a special live clip shot at EMG Studios which marks the first in a three-part in-studio performance series, hosted by EMG Pickups. The song "Better Worlds" comes courtesy of the band's impending new album The Road Will End, set to drop in North America via Ironclad Recordings on July 23rd, 2013 and one day earlier in Europe. On the downside, Jacob Johansen and Henrik Hald have also left the band leaving Jacob Krogholt apprehensive about the future of the band. To Solemn Ash, their last album, was released in 2011.

Recently, we found out about Ghost Ship Octavius, the new band featuring ex-Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott, current God Forbid guitarist Matt Wicklund, ex-Nevermore drummer Van Williams, bassist Sara Claudius, and 17-year-old vocalist Adōn Fanion. Today the band has released a little preview of what is to come. You can now watch a short clip of Christopher Amott and Matt Wicklund playing some of the guitar solos during the pre-production process. Almah have set Unfold as the title of their fourth album, which is coming out later this year to follow Motion. The album is currently being recorded in São Paulo, Brazil at the Do It! Studio of Edu and Tito Falaschi. The heavy/power metal band has also revealed the album's cover artwork which was designed by Nathalia Suellen (Lady Symphonia), an artist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Australian metallers Ne Obliviscaris have seen their song "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" from their debut album Portal Of I included in a teaching curriculum at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, one of Australia's most prestigious classical Conservatories. The song will undergo a compositional analysis by Professor Matthew Hindson, Chair of Composition at the Conservatorium. "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" will be studied as part of the curriculum.
