Paradise Lost - London Show To Be Recorded

Paradise Lost have recently announced that Abbey Road will be doing a live recording of their show at Camden Roundhouse in London today, November 3rd. The show is the last in the UK as part of their Tragic Illusion Anniversary Tour in celebration of their 25th anniversary as a band with special guests Lacuna Coil and Katatonia. Apart from this special tour, the band released the rarities collection Tragic Illusion 25 (The Rarities) as well.

Hecate Enthroned - New Album Tracklist, Studio Report

After revealing their new album's artwork, U.K. black metallers Hecate Enthroned have recently shared the album tracklist. The follow-up to 2004's Redimus, entitled Virulent Rapture, is due on November 25th. The first in a series of video clips giving fans an insight into the recording processes of Virulent Rapture, along with the band members' personal thoughts on the making of the album, can now also be seen below.

Six Feet Under - Postpone East Coast Tour

A few months ago, veteran death metallers Six Feet Under announced a short string of dates for November dubbed East Coast Armageddon Tour with Jungle Rot, Pyrexia, Malignancy, and Dark Sermon. Unfortunately, if you were planning to go, there is bad news. The tour has been postponed and moved to January/February due to an illness of a close family member of one of the band members.

Cradle Of Filth - Premiere New Short Film

British extreme metallers Cradle Of Filth have premiered a new short film to promote their upcoming foray into graphic novels, The Curse of Venus Aversa, previously unveiled. Produced by Greylight Studios, the movie purports to show a secret ceremony in New Orleans recorded on a hidden camera. The graphic novel itself is co-written by vocalist Dani Filth and New Orleans comic book author Kurt Amacker, and takes place in a Victorian world populated by images, themes, and horrors drawn from the Filth's back catalog. The entire 76-page graphic novel is rendered in black and white art by illustrator Montgomery Borror.

Metsatöll - Update From The Band

You can expect new material from Estonian folk metal band Metsatöll soon. There are plenty of things happening in the near future. First the band will release three albums from its catalog, Äio (2010), Ulg (2011) and Tuska (2012), digitally on November 5th. In addition to that, their new single Lööme Mesti ("Together") will be made available on November 19th. The track will appear on Metsatöll's upcoming album, due out in March. The follow-up to Ulg is finally coming.

"500 Letters" is the new video from singer Tarja taken from the new album Colours In The Dark. Shot in Tigre, near Buenos Aires, Argentina by Florian Kaltenbach, who also directed the clip for "Victim Of Ritual", this new clip has just been released worldwide online. For the first time in Tarja's history, the singer herself is the main character in the story line. With its very personal song writing and delicate topic, "500 Letters" offers a great emotional insight into the artist herself.

After the release of its Metal Blade debut Hated in 2011, Swedish metal outfit Sister has finally issued a brand new single called "Sick" right on time for the band's European run with Wednesday 13. Don Doty - Former Member Starts New Band

Former and current members of Dark Angel, Forbidden, Hirax and Devastation have joined forces in a new band called Eliminate. Eliminate is "fully engorged in the writing process with this newfound brotherhood" and plans to hit the touring circuit worldwide in 2014.

Rush - Streaming Live Track

Rush have premiered an audio recording of the song "2112", taken from the upcoming Clockwork Angels Tour release which can now be streamed using the SoundCloud widget below. The live recording is taken from a concert recorded last year. The Toronto trio performed "2112" as the final song of its encore in Dallas, Texas, last November. The Clockwork Angels tour, in support of the band's 19th studio album, incorporated many songs from the 1980s they hadn't performed in years. The shows also featured a live string section, a first for the band.

Timo Tolkki's Avalon - Tuomo Lassila To Guest On New Album

Tuomo Lassila, the founder of the legendary Finnish power metal band Stratovarius, will join his old bandmate Timo Tolkki for the recording of the drums and percussion parts on the second album of Timo Tolkki's Avalon Metal Opera. Previously, it was also announced that the first singer from the cast would be Simone Simons of Epica. The new album is expected to drop next year.
