Steve Vai and Legacy Recordings are about to release a special 2CD edition of the Passion And Warfare album which includes the first-ever release of Vai's Modern Primitive songs and recordings. The music on Modern Primitive has been completed by Vai for release as a full album disc and the 2nd CD is the bonus remastering of the Passion And Warfare 25th Anniversary Edition. The first disc ''Modern Primitive'' includes songs and recordings written from the time between the recording of Passion And Warfare and his first solo album Flex-Able. The double-disc album will be released on Friday, June 24th. For now, you can enjoy the new track ''Lovely Elixir'' revealed recently here.
