Death - Another Remastered Track Online

Previously unreleased 1990 rehearsal footage of Death's "Together As One" has been made available for streaming exclusively at Bravewords.

Another remixed and remastered track, called "Lack Of Comprehension", is still available for streaming over here.

The track comes off the Deluxe 20th Anniversary Edition of Human, which will be released on June 21th in North America (June 27th internationally) through Relapse Records. The album was entirely remixed and remastered by longtime Death producer Jim Morris and remastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge).

The repackaged version of Human, originally released in the fall of 1991, now features more than an hour of newly unearthed and previously unreleased early demo tracks.

I can't help but feel like all this Death remastering is something of an insult to Chuck. I mean, really, it's not as if all these tracks were of shit recording quality to begin with.

I think it's more along the lines of, "Hey guys, how can we exploit the already large-scale popularity of Death by remastering tracks that don't need to be and sticking on 40 bonus tracks that no one really cares about in an effort to rake in as much cash as humanly possible?"

Well put. I listened to the remastered track today and I honestly cannot tell the difference at all

That's a very, VERY grab asstic tracklist. I hope whatever Control Denied is coming out with doesn't have this almost cash-grab layout to it. "OOO intrumentals with and without the other guitarist", "OOO take 2, with paul, PP7 #6 EXTRA SMALL THE REMIXXX".

Come on.

To be honest, I don't think I would want my music to be remastered post-death (no pun necessarily intended).
