Anathema - Filming Show In Bulgaria For Blu-ray Release
Anathema are preparing a new treat for the fans. There is a new DVD/Blu-ray coming up in the near future. The band will be filming a special concert on 22nd September in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) at the Ancient Roman Theatre. Anathema will be accompanied by string players of the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra.
The band explained the details: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Bulgarian fans and indeed fans around the world to be part of Anathema's Bluray recording on Saturday."
"As you may know, on 22nd September the Ancient Roman Theatre in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) will host a truly special concert. The ruins of this spectacular building will provide a magical backdrop when Anathema take to the stage to perform their show alongside the string players of the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra. After weeks of speculation we can now reveal that this unique concert will be recorded live and released on Bluray in 2013 by Kscope."

Written by Slyfang on 19.09.2012 at 04:27 Nah, I've seen bands promoting their new album on tour and playing just 3 or 4 songs from it. Latest DVD was in 2006 so they could share the "non-classics" space to play some WAHBWAH songs as well.
