Infinitum Obscure - To Re-issue Debut Album
While the mexican death metal outfit Infinitum Obscure continue to work on a new album, the band is also working towards the re-release of their debut album, Internal Dark Force. The band reckons the album will be remastered at Necromorbus Studio in Sweden with Tore Stjerna and re-released by Deathgasm Records in CD format early next year.
The band reported: "As most people may know, we were never happy with the way Internal Dark Force sounded when the finished product was released, we never proofed the final "mastering" when it was done back in 2005 and it was released anyways. We learned from our mistake of course.
There's still a plan going on with Blood Harvest Records to release it on 12" vinyl and we were gonna remaster it. Luckily it hasn't been done yet...
Now, why luckily? Recently, Daniel (Corchado, who mixed Internal Dark Force back in 2005) found all the original recording tracks. Since 2005 things have changed so much so we've taken the little project of re-mixing Internal Dark Force from scratch, and afterwards will be re-mastered as well. Daniel is in charge of re-mixing it of course, since he was the original mix was done by him. Trust us, we've received a couple of re-mix samples from Daniel and they sound great compared to what some of you own in the original edition released in 2006.
We still have to decide where it will be re-mastered, our best guess is Necromorbus Studio in Sweden with Tore Stjerna. Anyway, we want to do fair justice to the good music on Internal Dark Force with the new mix and master, nothing is being altered form the recording so let's clarify, it is not being re-recorded at all, we simply believe that we want to do justice to that album, the best way possible.
Internal Dark Force will be re-released by Deathgasm Records on CD format in early 2013. So we also hope that the vinyl version features the new re-mix/mastering."
