Well, I've listened to three different songs from this album, and so far, it's as textbook as things go.

Seriously, you'd expect some kind of glistening individuality with this kind of star line-up, but so far everything has been incredibly bland and uninspired.

Mob Is Back: Generic Biker Metal 101
Come On Get Up: Generic Groove Metal 101
Behind These Eyes: Generic Metal Ballad 101

On one final note, specifically towards Russel Allen: This is a ballad; where you're supposed to use that incredibly melodic side of your voice that made you famous. You don't have to always be shouting in order to be metal, nor do you have to add some grizzle to your voice. Ballads are where metal bands get to show their purer side, so take advantage of that for the love of god...

I'm sad to say this, but I do agree with you. I hoped for something better, but sadly my expectations were met. This is just too dull for me. And that even goes for Russel. He's really such a good vocalist, but he's not utilizing half of what he's capable of. And why does he sing with that fucking retarded accent. Changing words like "your" to "yo" and "more" to "mo", and so forth? It sounds lame as fuck!
