But no mention of when it will be out, anyway will be good if it atleast matched the quality of his last release.
P.S. Would've preferred a PT album more.

His solo stuff is all well and good. But I'd really rather like to hear about a new PT album in the works. Oh well, one can hope.

R.I.P. Porcupine Tree
Sadly true. I would prefer a new PT album as well but alas that is not where his heart is. Don't know if it will ever happen again, now that he is all proud of the recognition he got with his solo career.

Not saying he is leading us PT fans along and it's well within his right if he is undecided but a concrete statement about the future of the band would be nice.

I love Porcupine Tree but in this case, fuck them...
Steven Wilson's solo carrear is the new fresh wave of what Prog/Jazz Fusion really can be!!!
Stop complain about PT, they're done, Steven is not returning too soon to them...if never!!!
Bunnies!!!

He said last year and multiple times that PT was on hold while he is doing his solo stuff.
Unrelated to what you said, we are faggots because we like PT? Good logic, Shock.

Great news! Looking forward to the new album! Although yes, I hope he goes back to PT at some point as well.

I'll be honest. I've found Steven Wilson's solo works to be rather... uninspired. Just sounds like improved production over the same prog tracks we've heard since the 70s. The reason I liked PT was because they had their own identity. Wilson's solo work just doesn't have that for me. The only thing "new" about it for me, is the production, which is Steven Wilson standard.
So yeah, I'd definitely prefer a PT album over another Wilson solo release.

I love this man deeply and I'm certainly glad that he's been getting recognition for his solo career. It is well deserved. I think one day he will get the boys back together to make another Porcupine Tree album, but it'll probably be another few years. I don't think a band that talented and great can just go away like that. I don't expect anything from them until he records and tours for another solo album or two.

I agree with some of that, but still i rather prefer some of the Wilson's work than Porcupine Tree it self, and i love both!!!
Just addicted more to his solo i guess
